New cafés are always interesting to check out offerings & my recent visit to LidnJar at Rhodes was no different – but in fact with differences? Quirky furniture is nothing new as an attraction (or challenge) but the new cafe took it to a new level by including the whole fitout. Some pics follow & I’ll leave it to you to like/dislike their decor. As for the food & coffee, I was very happy with what I had & no doubt will return soon. (Actually my return will also allow me to check out whether their decor attempt was in fact intended, or maybe the fitout was temporary to suit the opening?)
That’s very amusing! Lots of room to tuck a style-compatible Brompton, but too much temptation, I think, to cut cheese or bread on the iPad!
Perhaps the cutting board is for splitting bills? I liked their creativity & showed them pics of the LondonBromptonJunction seats (they hadn’t seen them before & were impressed)
I love the way this place looks! Spare but welcoming, and it’s clear they’re serious about coffee. Your Brompton looks very comfortable here.
So many touches that I couldn’t mention but maybe the pics help. I was comfortable (having cut short a ride) but Mrs Aussie got caught in the rain (on her S6E with no mudguards) & felt she was too wet to sit around.
